Song of the moment

Twenty seconds on the backlog, overtime
Just twenty seconds 'til we're swept by the tide
We're treading water in the dead of night
And we're speechless, just speechless

Cause you've got me right where you want me
As a tsunami tide rolls over
The landscape that we built a home in
Inside of our minds

We're staring skywards waiting for a sign
Up to our necks in it 'til the day brings us light
And our whole lives are flashing before our eyes
And we're speechless

Cause you've got me right where you want me
As a tsunami tide rolls over
The landscape that we built a home in
Inside of our minds

So we fall and we break
And we make the same mistakes
Like we always, always do
And we crawl, intertwined
Forced apart from the inside
Like we always, always knew

And I'm speechless
Just speechless

Twenty seconds on the backlog, overtime
Just twenty seconds 'til you're no longer mine.

Virgin Spring

Saskia De Brauw and Kinga Rajzak get photographed by solve sundsbo in this hauntingly beautiful editorial for Vogue Japan march 2012
styled by George Cortina, wearing all white, the girls wear Alexander Mcqueen, Chanel, Emilio Pucci and others

The composition of these photos is wonderful the angles and cropping are done just right and I enjoy how each photograph is done differently. The androgynous faces of these girls are both strong and soft proving the story of the Virgin. The delicate lace pieces and applique jewelry mixed with the crest like crown are spectacular. I like how the hair caps look similar to what knights would have worn. Vogue Japan's interpretation of spring as a virgin with the simplistic neutral shades and delicate pieces is different compared to the loud pastels, color blocking, and print on print trends that I have seen lately.
