By now you guys probably know that silk is one of my favorite textiles to wear, though it's a terrible pain in the ass to take care of, the feel and look of the fabric always leads me back. I wore this silk oversized blouse with my favorite silk chevron blush pencil skirt the other day. The subtle broken  print is so interesting and delicate witch perfectly juxtaposes the harsh nature of a chevron pattern. Anyways hope you all are hanging in there, thought it's still the beginning of the week. I've been working on an exciting potential trip overseas! More details to come!

Poncho wearing airbender

Finally back! I have had no access to my computer for the last two weeks since my computer jacked up. But anyways this was a shoot I a couple of weeks ago at The Block- Orange. We thought it would be fun to do some "airbending" shots and I think they came out quite cool.I really adore the details of this poncho/blanket it has really great tapestry effect and the ombre gives nice dimension not to mention I'm a sucker for plum shades. I actually chopped off my hair last week since I was getting really fed up with my drabby hair.. I went for a Alexa Chung lob/shag look and so far so good. It's a lot more maintenance than my old hair but it's a nice change. Plus I am a die hard Alexa fan.

This Calvin Klein Jeans sweatshirt is kind of in your face but I really like it ! the cut is a little baggy and awkward but it was my mom's from the 80's and CK are my initials so I've always had a love for the brand. Just a little fun fact for you guys if you were wondering. :]  The colors in my outfit clash a bit but in a way that I can appreciate, it would be boring if I were to go with a white or black button own instead I opted for my fun silk chartruse button up. Anyways hope you guys have a great weekend

I've been buying a lot of cool stuff on ebay recently.. I swear I find the best deals like this awesome sweater it's a little busy with the sheer mesh and elastic cuffs and waist band and obviously the loud fringes but it works, at least in my point of view. Anyways I have been so busy with school lately it's almost a bit overwhelming since I'm a bit anal about school however I really enjoy the classes I'm taking since they are all fashion and marketing based. I went to this sample sale on Sunset the other day and it was my first time at one and it was pretty cool with extremely discounted designer wear and I purchased my first (new) designer piece. My other pieces are either vintage or given from my family. I got ACNE [Ambition to Create Novel Expressions] jeans and I adore them, I'l feature them in a post soon! Happy Tuesday!

Hi guys! Hope you’re all having a nice week! I’m doing pretty good, been getting into the swing of school and adjusting my routine. I recently found this “jcrew” bubble necklace look a like on ebay and let me tell you it looks like the same thing for about 10 dollars which is a tenth of the price! I especially love the color of this it’s a muted purple grey witch I really enjoy on m nails. Revlon stormy is pretty similar and there is a icing color (they sell this at walmart) I don’t remember the name but it’s also great. i did a impromptu hike up at this local park and It was really pretty. I’ve recently been getting into the whole detox/healthy living thing. Hopefully I can actually stick with it.

Hi guys! so I’ve caught the seasonal flu this past week on my first week back at school which is quite terrible because of my lack of motivation to do pretty much anything. I've been watching a ton of tv and movies (I know super unproductive) but I’m getting a bit better today and thankfully I have a couple more days till I have to turn in projects and homework. Well hopefully none of you people out there have got the flu aend If you do I feel your pain. Happy weekend! I’ll be spending mine recouping and writing essays yay…

I fell in love with this top a couple of weeks ago from H&M and it was on the sale rack for $10! super happy with it, I might tailor it so it cinches in more since I couldn’t find a smaller size, but still great. I never get tired of this once “maxi” dress which now fits like a midi, I found it in my mom’s closet a while back before the high Angelina Jolie slit was all the rage. Hope everyone has had a great first week into the new years! :]
